AERC (American Endurance Ride Conference) Is the national organization that you will want to get in contact with if you are interested. What type of horse do you have? Arabians overall tend to do very well but so do some crosses. And a Fjiord just completed The Tevis ride this year. Almost any breed can do it as long as the have the drive for it, and are conditioned as well as they can be.

What organization is this race a part of? I'm looking into endurance racing but I'm not sure what will fit me and my horse best.
