First Generation Morphing Wing, fabricated during a 2-week long "Maymester" program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, in May 2006. Note that the lower wing skins buckled, but the nose and tail did bend down.

I'm in engineering and I can't help but noticing how engineers in the audience ALWAYS talk about faults or things they don't like. Well, instead of expecting a pristine 787 ready to go all working etc, Good job on your prototype!! Keep at it!

With all those mechanics in the wings to include a rubber muscle; where will all the fuel go to fly over a ocean?
