  • Its bull that people at a Pearl Jam concert would boo anything Eddie says. The man has made emotional impacts through his lyrics to nearly every Pearl Jam fan out there, and they can't give him a minute to speak his mind about our f**up of a president, especially when it is his words that are heard most because of his status. I went to the Hartford show and he made a very similar speech..heard no booing there. You may not agree with Eddie, but have the fuckin decency to let him vent his thoughts

  • Has pearl jam sold records at starbucks? No, I didn't think so. I think you spouted your one-sided diatribe on a least one other video-it isn't necessary to get on the same soapbox elsewhere.

  • @SixStringBurner also he's an amazing song writer, you forgot that part...

  • This was such an awesome show! I want PJ back at Bonnaroo someday

  • The president in one facet or another controls everything in this country. He appoints people with his same views to oversee things he could not possibly have time for. W was CEO of America, and you want to say he didn't control the company?

  • lol he's so drunk!

  • typical liberal moron---- let's make an argument with a claim and a conclusion, conveniently leaving out the facts, basically building a house with a roof and a foundation and no walls.....

vedder, sadly, your music has not been good since Vitalogy, you are a hypocrite, and your singing hasn't been good or powerful since the aforementioned album....

funny, mr. punk rock is running around the US doing $75/ticket shows and selling CDs at Starbucks...........LAWLZ

  • that concert was the greatest thing i've ever witnessed.

  • Right on Vedder. In fact, I can't think of anyone more qualified to publicly speak about foreign policy. It's not like he has lived in a rock 'n roll dream world of ideas and theories or anything. He has extensive practical experience in the real world, and a large portion of political and business knowledge.

Pass the doobie bra.... and yes, Pearl Jam is a great band.

  • lol eddie is so bad at getting his words out

  • The crowd wasn't booing Eddie, they were booing Bush and the Bush policies Eddie was talking about.
