Pope Benedict XVI: hunger is unacceptable

Speaking to the faithful following the Angelus Prayer this Sunday, Pope Benedict XVI recalled that the UN conference on the economic crisis is scheduled to take place this month, and prayed that the ongoing crisis might be transformed into greater development for persons and an equitable distribution of resources and decision-making authority, with attention to the poorest people in particular.
