Saying that they could just as easily feature men in these ads is true, and yet they rarely do. If it was one ad you could say it wasn't sexist, but when its a systematic pattern of dehumanizing women in greater ways than men in advertising, we can call it sexism.

You must not be paying attention to adverts, there are just as many men themed trash as these out there. A lot of the most iconic of these were pulled from the 50's. Take a look at modern adverts, they dehumanize everyone not just women. I wish people would wake up already.

You obviously have no clue what your talking about. Education would require you to own reality and accept the truth. Women, men objectify each other. They always have and always will with ignorant people spreading this hate filled ideology such as yourself. Stop feeding the problem and become a part of the solution. Or accept that you want this to be your reality and keep spreading the lies and hate. Your choice.

I'm sorry, my mistake. Counted from last November in the election of 2012, there were 7 million more women than men that were eligible to vote. Female voters could put either contender over the top. Therefore, men really don't have a say in anything if all women choose the same candidate. The amount of females are just going to go up. Who knows, Maybe by the time todays children are adults, all representatives will be women.

Life was sexist in the 50s and 60s. Today is a lot better. Society is slowly bringing all of us together, equal on the scale.Gay marriage is slowly becoming legal, more women are working and becoming successful in everything they do. Men& women that are gay are starting to feel more accepted in society and show who they are. More races are mixing, and having children. One day, we might all be the same color. We're all people. It's not their fault they had an XX chromosome, and XY. (Female,Male)

Actually, i don't know what country your from, but In the u.s., there are 4 million more women than men that are eligible to vote. (also known as a above 18) just in case i had to explain it to you (you're a man, you don't think about things.) anyway, that means that women outnumber men, and basically it's the women that determine whos president. We also live longer than you and don't curl up into balls on the floor when we get hit in sensitive areas.

That's not the point. Women hate being objectified but have no problem objectifying men...

Yes, they are being objectified more but it's for their strength and domineering stances while shirtless, they aren't being portrayed as fragile, incompetent, ready to be controlled, and ready to serve men. Come back and try this again when men are not only being objectified, but consistently portrayed that their only purpose in life is to serve women in every way, but especially sexually.

These girls have been subjected to the same sexism everyone else has, It'd be unsurprising if many of these women thought that this is all they're worth, that this is actually how their lives will be because of their gender identity, that this is the best they can do. They're still working within a patriarchal system and may not recognize the implications of being a part of this.

They're there. Doesn't mean it's not a problem. Doesn't mean it shouldn't garner attention. It needs to change.
