  • great video!where did you find it??3rd generation bayonne-ite!

  • i had sex w some chick in bayonneee

    great memories!

  • I lived between 15th and 16th st. and spent many Saturdays at the Plaza theater on 16th and Broadway. In the mid fifties I was only paying 10 cents to see two features, a serial and 10 cartoons. They even had drawings for door prizes. I would stop at our local candy store for 10 or 15 cents worth of penny candy, usually a bag of various flavored licorice. The store was on the corner next to the theater. and we called it Mat's.

    Thanks for the memories.

  • Some classic Bayonne footage.

  • It brought back alot of memories for me, as I was born in Bayonne. I remember how Broadway used to look with its many theaters, such as the Plaza, DeWitt and Lyceum theaters, and my dad rescued the passengers that sad day the train fell overboard...He belonged to the Jersey Yacht club and quickly went to help save lives. All of you are heroes for being there that day to rescue the passengers. My dad is John Sharkey, who is 83 now.
