Again health care reform. It's not the health care. It's the finance. And it can be so simple, but there are movements doing their best to confuse it. HR3200, Obamacare, is a draconian labrynth. What ever happened to HR676 ? There may be other plans. Some town hall meetings are a raucous. Let's put the emotion aside and disect it. I mention 4 plans here.
1. HR3200 - Forced universal insurance/care intruding into every aspect of our lives.
2. HR676 - Free medicare for all (single payer, stuck in congress) public option
3. INSURANCE with rules.
4. NO insurance, but price controls to combat inflation.
Some key requirements.
1. Patient Privacy (doctor/patient control)
2. Care portable between jobs, providers, states and nations
3. Prices up front available. Fixed. (transparency)
4. Prices bundled in package deals. Pregnancy from conception to birth.
5. Economies of scale to drive down costs
6. Lean and 6 Sigma to improve quality & efficiency
7. 100% membership. If everyone is a member, then no need to prove eligibility. No need for laws and punishments for outsiders.
8. Needs to emcompass medical, dental, mental, optical, pharmaceutical, therapies, everything.
9. Emphasis on primary doctors, less on specialists.
10. Patients should ssee copy of the bill to verify it, not pay it.
If you want a good system, design a good system
If you prize profits over health, you are probably quite happy with today's system.
I'm not against medical professionals. They studied hard and work harder.
I have seen some institutions work them like a factory. Having insurance quotas to make.
This cuts time with patients and can hurt the quality of care. Reform is needed in finances.
Ooops, HR3200 did pass.
But now there are more Republicans in Congress.
What does that mean ?

Did we all hear the speech yesterday ? Very impressive. He addressed nearly all of the concerns brought up at the town hall meetings. Very smooth. BUT !
But, time for critical and analytical thinking. Less emotions. The bill will not raise the deficit ? Of course ! Because 50 million people will pay for it with PREMIUMS ! The government forces people to spend money to insurance companies.
Like I said, NO PREMIUMS WITHOUT REPRESENTATION ! Premiums are taxation.
