God - my Lord, Friend, Lover, Saviour, High Priest, Judge, Father, Bridegroom, ....?

The Bible is full of stories about different people having different kinds of relationships with God. I assume each person alive has an individual one, but are there any role models?
How should my relationship with God look like?

Here are some biblical examples about how a relationship with God could or should or should not look like.

Being on a personal quest trying to understand what my relationship with God should be like I tried to analyze and categories those relationships we find described in the Bible.
Some of them are more intimate than others and I firmly believe the best is yet to come...for all of us.
Jesus and His Bride. Love is the end of it.

Hope this helps you too.

  • Hi LoveGodEndlessly! I loved every second of your marvelous video presentation and was so blessed for watching it. You've made complete and theological sense, that our relationship with God starts as a master-slave, friend, savior, growing child of God who finally grows up into a fully matured Bride of Christ. May I have your permission to post this video on our website? Mahalo & Aloha ke akua!

  • @porkeebear Thanks for your kind words. It is amazing what you find when you read the Bible from the perspective of what type of relationships the people described in there have with God and what kind of successes or problems result out of it. It seems to me that this has been a somewhat overlooked but nevertheless important part of the Bible.

And yes you may go ahead and post the video on your website. :-)
