All very well saying that you made a couple of thousand just this morning or whatever, but surely you can only make that sort of $ if you have fat stacks to trade with in the first place, like a $50,000 account. How can us little guys with a few hundred do it? and do you make regular solid gains, or up and down?

first of all thanks for the feedback. i have made a few accounts to see if i can make money in different situations. my 20k account was the one that was up around 15% in two days last week.i have another account with 2k in it, so it can trade on margin too. if you have a 2k account etrade and others will let you use four. 400+ every week or two is not bad for someone who only has 2k in the market. and thats if he is not being overly risky.

nd i have a different account that started with 1100 in the beginning of the summer, and with little work its up 40%+. i also have a penny stock account with a few penny stocks that arent bs and are good for trading, that one started with about 1000 three months ago now its 3000+

I'm in my first year of trading fx, can I ask how long it took you - from beginner - to making consistent returns?

im not so familiar with forex, but if u are a day or swing trader you will most probably lose money until 4-8 months in(unless u are being helped by others). shortly afterwards youll be able to produce better results. i am up just about 100% since august 25. ill be making a vid tomorrow to discuss specific trades and how i did it. good luck and keep me updated/ let me know if i can help you in any way.
