I visited Boston last summer for a program at BU...I am from the south where nothing like this is anywhere near me and by the end of the week and when we left...i honestly think i started to miss the T. It was a different experience for sure. I miss Boston as well. It's a gorgeous city with great historical backgrounds.

green line sucks! but remember when the green line was on causway u could hear that thing from haymarket squeaking up the track

do these things build the same way R143s do?
-
That's because the 2nd one was a B-line train. The B-line terminates at Government Center and then turns around, which is why nobody was on it.

does the green line use a third rail when its undeground??

I never seem to help it, but the Bredas have Bombardier traction motors, and thus when at slow speed sound exactly like an R142A on the New York City Subway when leaving a station. (For below to work, swap out identifier code), compare it to this R142A video here: Dj8BEY3Wb_c&feature=related (swap it out in the URL bar). They do sound exactly alike when leaving a station (Breda Type 8s and Kawaski R142As)
i forgot how they squeeked lol now I remember how boston is only thing missing is the smell of the ocean! how i miss this city! wonder how this city is doing today
