It's the strangest thing. Israel leaves South Lebanon in 2000 and what happens? Hezbollah ramps up the attacks on Israel, but now from the very land Israel left. Then in 2005, the same occurs in Gaza. Israel leaves Gaza and then HAMAS uses that newly acquired land from Israel to attack Israel. Sadly, if I were an Israeli, I would be highly skeptical of handing over any more land.

What Netanyahu forgot to mention: Israel phoned some 90,000 civillians in Gaza via land phones and cellphones, warning them to stay away from Hamas military facilities before we attacked them. If any civillians were hit, it is their own fault, and the fault of their own leaders.
