A COMPLETE YEAR LATER... and here I am with the second official installment in my UTENA Universe series. I think, more than anything, this one acts as a direct prequel to the last one since this ends where that starts.
What can I say? For starters, this has been my most favourite song since the last one. I love the fact that it's a rock song, and techno song, AND a Bollywood song that, all at the same time, is ultimately a romance song. I love the rough edge that goes along with the beautiful lyrics.
This is also another direct tribute to the amazing awesomeness that is Shreya Ghoshal. I got the chance to see her and hear her live in my own hometown; she even performed Teri Ore (the song I used in the last video). I was taken then and I am absolutely in love with her angelic voice. ALSO! I recently fell in love with Atif Aslam. His voice is VERY different from anything I've ever heard before and I have a huge crush on his vocals. I also got to see him that time since he came with Shreya and he sang a bit of this song too. How amazing is that? I'm blessed! :)
The editing style here is a bit different... I used filters to really mess with the colours and quality overall, but it was part of the vision. It's not perfect, but I love that. The audio is first-class quality since I pulled it from the best source and the same applies to the video. If that's not enough reason to love this video, I have no idea what is.
UTENA Universe is not a real show that I or anyone I know of is involved with. I made up the title and logo for the fun of it, and thus the idea of making a small series of Anime Music Videos (AMVs) based on the Original Movie sprung into my head. Whenever I get the time, I will put out videos like this that embody the beauty of both the animation and the music.
Teri Liye from the movie Prince, composed by Sachin Gupta, and performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Atif Aslam.
[NOTE: Dear Copyright Holders, I love your movies and the soundtrack applied to each and every one of them. Hopefully the music used here will promote others to go see your movies and purchase the music!]

@Rainmarsfox I have no idea what the problem could be. I use 720x480 to export with 16:9 ratio.

@Rasstastic That's what it did for me.. but yeah, those bars...

@Rainmarsfox I just mounted the ISO for the R2 movie, ripped the clips in Ulead/Corel, then dumped them in the program. Automatically fits the screen in the project is widescreen.

@Rasstastic Question, what resolution do you set it to when you export it? I set mine to 720x480 and get those horrible borders.

@Rainmarsfox LOL! I was just thinking about making another one too. For shame. Poor SMU!
