@qflatmajor i think john (from deerhoof) said it wasn't easy to play live. Last time i saw them they opened their set with this song though :)

depending on how rich she was when she bought it, it's a real hofner or something of the general design called a 'viola bass'
hofner was the brand that paul mccartney played - you can actually tell it's a viola bass very easily by its sound.

lol i don't think i realized they were married until a short while ago. i still don't know when it happened.
i guess this is one of those songs that they (surprisingly) don't play live very often.
This is one of my favorite deerhoof songs. Amazing shifty harmonies, great energy. Why can I only find one other youtube posting?
