  • I am so glad you enjoyed this, too. Erdmann was an important pianist. I actually prefer the brisker pace he favors here - the piece moves along and does not...degenerate. Too many pianists today seem to equate profundity of expression with an exaggeratedly slow tempo.

  • The tempo takes some getting used to for me but in parts it's riveting, thanks for posting.
