I am so glad you enjoyed this, too. Erdmann was an important pianist. I actually prefer the brisker pace he favors here - the piece moves along and does not...degenerate. Too many pianists today seem to equate profundity of expression with an exaggeratedly slow tempo.

The tempo takes some getting used to for me but in parts it's riveting, thanks for posting.
