At first glance, Emma Watson looks like the average 7-year-old. She has the curiosity and laughter of any other child her age. And she holds her moms hands with the same innocence of most kids.

But the story of Emmas life is anything but ordinary. She was born with half a heart. In her young life shes already had five open heart surgeries.

All of the surgeries that she will have she has likely already had. And the next thing would be a heart transplant somewhere down the line if thats available at that time.

Patti and John Watson are Emmas adoptive parents. They travelled to Rome with her to see her live out her special wish of meeting the pope.

She just looked at him in a way that Ive never seen her look before. She was without words for the first time.

Emma Watson
I didnt think we were gonna be that close.

But Emma wouldnt have grown up with the love and care of the Watsons if it wasnt for the last minute courage of her birth mother.

Her birth mother had wanted to have an abortion and decided to back out of that and decided to give her life. And now shes with our family, husband, a huge blessing to our family.

The Watsons leave Rome with a very special moment, one they call breathtaking and that gave them a sense of awe.

Emmas mom says her condition will continue to require special attention. But its evident that she already has two of the most important things a 7-year-old could ask for: love of a family and the gift of life.

  • @SophiaVonHelgastein We Catholics don't place anyone before God. That being said, it doesn't mean we have to reject the successor of Peter as the person who KNOWS Christ the best and is in position to guide us, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

How can the Church be ONE, if in the end, you reject the LIVING VOICE of authority? And don't tell me the authority is the Holy Spirit, who guides every christian... If that was the case, there wouldn't be 40 000+ protestants sects around.

  • @jadetiger88888 what can't handle a few home truths, sad

  • hello everyone, i think we should complain to youtube about the user manormaid.

  • @manormaid oh my goodness you should look at the mirror! even the picture you used for your channel on youtube shows a disturbed mind. and i am being kind!

  • @TheOtherKatie very good answer!

  • @manormaid if you had any faith at all you would know that you shouldn't judge someone based on no evidence-that is common with all religious doctrines, not just the Catholic one. Stop being a troll, if you do not appreciate Catholicism or the pope then fine, but don't go around falsely accusing our pope of crimes he did not commit or doctrines he did not believe in EVER

  • @manormaid get a life
