Boise State University Marching Band 9/3/09 Tribute to David A. Wells- "Leader of the Band"

David A. Wells, the former director of the athletic bands at Boise State University from 1986-2008 passed away after a battle with cancer in May of 2009. The Blue Thunder Marching Band pays tribute to him during the Halftime show of the Boise State/ Oregon game on 9/3/09 by playing an arrangement of the Dan Fogleberg classic 'Leader of the Band'

I would have given anything to be at this game and watch this show. At the time of this performance, I was on a plane flying home from AIT. One of my friends always asks me where I am in pictures of this game, and I always have to point to the horizon and say I'm somewhere out there because he always forgets ^^U
