all the montreux footage is very hard to watch - she is obviously having a bi-polar episode here - I wonder why they let her go on when she quite obviously wasn't well

I've never seen anything quite like that. Mesmerizing. Magical. Odd. I was stunned, but in a good way. Like experiencing something remarkable for the first time. A very different kind of artistry. Huge talent seasoned with insight and a pinch of insanity. I was transfixed.
