Well one definite pro is that it's fun to say. "Layaway," clever name. Had it been called "Pay For Crap Over A Long Period of Time" maybe it wouldn't be so popular.

obviously, they didn't do all of their homework ... kmart adjusts the price for sale items ... and there is no start up fee.
