Picked up another Bronco. Has an Offenhauser C intake with a Holley 600 cfm 4bbl on a 300 I6. Unfinished exhaust with headers into mufflers.

Didn't run super well, so I rebuild the carb and stripped the entire computer controlled feedback ignition system out and put in the older DuraSpark II setup (distributor, coil, ignition module, plus the wiring harness), and tuned it up. Runs amazing!

  • I wounder how this carb would perform on the D/p, have you had any problems getting it tuned?

  • @Joeseph63087 It was actually really easy to dial in. Stock setting almost worked perfectly. Just needed a little bit bigger accelerator pump squirter. Gas mileage isn't too bad either. It's been around 10 or 11 all winter with short trips and 20 degrees out. Haven't taken it long distance though.

  • You got two mufflers? Or just one? It sounds good, was it ever EFI buy any chance?

  • @evilperson86u It had two in the video. I'm not sure the kind. I've since removed them and put on a much better exhaust.

It never was EFI (that didn't start until 87 on this motor).
