In 2008 Belizean social/political activist Nuri Akbar was invited to appear on KREM TV popular show "Women at work" hosted by Virginia Echols and YaYa Marin Coleman. Mr Akbar gave a dynamic historical context to Belize contemporary social and political ills. He laid the foundation and connected the dotes that are often overlook when analyzing Belize current crisis. Students and teachers are particularly encouraged to take note and study the information that was disseminated. Nuri Akbar also offered some public policy options for the nation of Belize.
