  • i dont think they got the honor they reaaallly deserved. Which is kinda sad to me because they were singing back in the days of the late Thomas Dorsey , Willie Mae Ford Smith, and James Cleavland, Now if that isnt Gospel History, then I dont have a clue what Gospel History is..... They indeed ARE GOSPEL MUSIC!! I wish they would be honored as they deserve. Extremely Humble Individuals they are....

  • The people who really knew good music admired them tremendously. The great gospel singer Mahalia Jackson said of DeLois' voice: "It opens right up like a rose."

  • look at delois barrett she looks like she is so proud of her baby sister when Rodessa is singing because he lives it is so cute

  • When you say that you dont think they got the honor they really deserve, I beg to differ. Receiving the praise of men is no where near the reward of Having the Lord God heap upon you the praise, "Well done thou good and faithful servant." Awards and money will be left behind, but only what you do for Christ will last. Another great honor is to be able to bless another persons soul, and that they do each time I hear them sing.

  • I've been a fan of your Grandmother's group since i was a child. I would love to meet them soon. My group will be Chicago in April. If you can arrange it please get back with me. God Bless You!

  • These ladies are truly a blessing. I have never heard such melody come from anyone before. I became familiar with them when "Say Amen Somebody" documentary came out. I'd love to meet these mighty women of God. To be in their 70's and 80's and still pressing is such an encouragement.
