I had the Ramones play at the University of Connecticut for Spring Break and they broke out Mama's Boy. Backstage, Dee Dee came up to me and said, did you like our new song? I said, yeah. And he (being Dee Dee) said, what was the name?

I said, Mommy's Boy, I think. He said, better than the last guy. He thought it was Nazi Boy. Just another lovely moment with Dee Dee.

This is my favorite later Ramones song. Thanks for such a good video of it.

i noticed that when Richie joined the band, the Ramones were getting a more punk rock sound, almost a hardcore punk sound. Songs like Animal Boy, Endless Vacation, Ignorance is bliss, Wart hog, Eat that rat.
