Peter just got out of rehab and is back living with his fiancé. He relapses and she kicks him out. Peter contacts his childhood girlfriend and she invites him to visit her in San Diego for the weekend. When he arrives and sees her its as if the proverbial rainstorm begins to clear. As the two make their way through sunny San Diego you are likely to define them by who theyre not as much as by who they are. Water Wings is an improvised and uplifting film whose imagery is conjoined with a soundtrack that permeates the night of independent cinema.
