getting my belly button pierced

that's not me laughing, it's my friend. the needle didn't hurt. the clamp did. that was the most painful thing about it. wear a loose shirt when you go because it's going to feel sore and it won't feel good to have a tight shirt rubbing up against it. it hurts for a few weeks after, but buy h2ocean and spray it on a few times a day!

@laughinggirl222 Some piercers use a "free hand" style instead of clamps during piercings. Although this is a viable method, there is more of a chance for an needle stick accident (AKA your piercer breaking the glove, a big no-no, not to mention your body fluids in their hand), so many prefer to use clamps to hold the tissue!

When I got mine done, it did NOT hurt whatsoever. But, I have a high tolerence in pain. I give it a 4 on the pain meter. Lol

so last year my dad got a tattoo and he said since we were there i could have my belly button pierced. the lady showed me the needle (im not a fan) and talked me through the steps. i chickened out. this year i want it done. DOES IT HURT?!?!? what is it like?
