  • Excellent...my absolute favorite of Donne. This was written when he had found what he condidered his true love. I wrote an explication in college for an exam...soul and body of two meet and exist within this work.

  • That is one of Donne's trickiest poems. You give the impression you understand every phrase. Your tone is exactly right. Did you memorise it first? Do try some more.
