@Skarloe I don't think it ruins the song. If all you liked about it was the atmosphere, then that's a great musical experience. You don't have to agree or listen to my interpretation.
My TLDR was mostly just to highlight the fact that I interface with some songs in an intellectual way and I know some people just absorb the feeling (both valid ways to listen). I did take a few pages out of my band teacher's books though ;)

@soludsnak That wasn't too long, just too unnecessary, it kinda ruins the atmosphere of the song when you start describing the motif and analyzing the song. XD You sound like a high-school music teacher. :P (No offense)

I think this is one of the better songs that sums up the music in the game. It has a subtle 6/4 villain's motif that builds into a modal cascade as the song progresses. Kind of like how the main character thwarts the villains and their influence over the city is lessened. this will be TL;DR for most people.
