@02TaivaN20 ghost shrimp are salt water, however when they mate and they need a some what brackish water enviroment, so if ur having babies, i highly suggest you check your parameters... also Shrimp life span are usually a year or so ...
@loveoffish12 Aren't ghost shrimp closer to freshwater?
I know that, though they're sold as freshwater animals for food and clean up crew in freshwater tanks, the larval stage needs brine to survive. So I'd assume the adults can live in brine...
But I've never heard of Ghosts living in oceanic saltwater.
What type of light is that

@loveoffish12 First off I'm pretty sure ghost shrimp are freshwater CUC.
And this tank looks pretty clean to me. The purple is coralline algae which is pretty desirable in reef tanks.
The substrate looks pretty neat, all I see is a bit of green algae on the right side but he keeps the front of the tank clean so I dont see a problem!

@FullmetalAngyl
I'm no expert on ghost shrimp but I got two of em at petco
and they both died within a week, but about 2 weeks later I found a baby
ghost shrimp in my tank and hes been thriving, its shed about 3 times now and
is about half his parents size. If ghost shrimp larvae do need salt it must be a minimal
amount because mine was freshwater with like 3 tablespoons of table salt
