Hi guys, here's another sample. This time I have focused on rhythm guitars, so there's not any solo.

In addition to the plugins of the other sample there are "Maximizer" from Cubase, and L2 from Wawes. They're both useful to turn up the volume without clipping.

Here's the list:

TS Secret
TSE X30 1.6 Sovtek version
keFIR v1
PSP Mixsaturator 2
Renaissance 4 Band EQ
Ambience
Maximizer
Wawes L2
EZdrummer

Guitar impulse are from Guitar Hacks.

  • Teenage kicks ?

  • @TheVividHollow lol it's similiar :)

  • why does my cubase 6 elements sound like shit vs this? do i need a better sounddevice? i use my onboard sound atm. and my guitar is directly plugged in my computer. i tried using my moddeling amp between computer and guitar but its also no good sound. it sounds like far away and always a bit noisy. so is it my soundcard or maybe the pickups?

  • @MetalGuitarTimo Well, onboard soundcards sucks hard. You should buy a dedicated one. And however, be sure to use correctly plugins, after the modelling amp you always need a cab emulator (with impulses loaded). You should check some tutorials on youtube.

  • So did you use a keyboard to make these riffs, or did you just play it on guitar but plug it into your computer?

  • @MMRED I play it on the guitar, which is plugged in my pc

  • @MetalGuitarTimo

It's probably your settings and your playing

  • @tkdbcc It's not, the sound quality from EZdrummer is much higher, and both can be used with MIDI Rolls to make your own tracks so EZdrummer is much better if you like high sound quality.
