I feel bad for the young cats that think they are SF material and fail and end up in an MOS they hate. The average age of and SF operator in an ODA is about 32...My best advice to anyone seeking an SF slot is to spend 4+ years in a combat arms MOS in an Airborne unit and then tryout after you have some skills built up.

@MXpatdabakerXM i wish you luck. Being a former 18B i can tell you that the wash out rate is higher for those of you coming in as a secretary. I was in 4 years then went to SFAS. Like I said rudy I wish you luck. OBTW rudy is short for Rudy Pooh - you punk - the SF instructors will eat your ass up and spit you out -don't be so confident that you are cocky cause like what has been said when the bullets start flying it isn't a fucking video game anymore.
