Immigrants in Cape Town, South Africa, wait for a bus which will take them to the department of home affairs to apply for refugee status. They sleep through the night and have been kept out of the public eye, hidden and mistreated. They are not allowed to work without receipt of this application, and are arrested and deported back to their troubled countries if they are not able to show proof of application. Well it is not the intention of south africans to treat people like this..this happens for a reason..why because south Africa has'nt set up refugee facilities for such occurances and migration of refugees. this is the first it has experienced in 100yrs. 5million refugees no country in the whole world can afford such, it is up to the leaders of theses war torn countries to see beyond that rather blaming south Africa for all the problems that could occur. South Africa has got issues to look in at

No one in south Africa has treated anybody with disrespect..remember that south Africans are poor too and can'nt be solving everybody's problems from all the war torn regions of Africa. It is sad that south Africa has big issues too yet to solve and south Africa is not capable of solving the whole of Africa's problems and should'nt be the place were people will be running to expecting that south Africa will be like the first world countries..SA will be setting up housing facilities in the future

It's sad that people can treat their own in such a manner! I think everyone in an African country has the potential of becoming a refugee one day, they need to remember that fact before they treat others with disrespect!
