I'm with you all the way g/f Merrill will always be THE TRUE voice of the Osmonds and he deserves the recognition as such.

I SO agree........Donny was NEVER the lead........yes He took the occassional line but then they all often did that. Merrill was ALWAYS the lead.......The Osmonds couldn't have wanted for a better lead singer.

cuando yo tenia 14 años,eran mis idolos,despues de tantos años,mi marido me llevo el año pasado a las vegas,eran mis 50 años y me tenia la sorpresa que me llevo al show de donny y marie,dios mio,no lo podia creer que despues de tantos años lo conoceria y platicaria un ratito con ellos,los amo,porque representan una epoca bella de mi vida y todo gracias a mi esposo.....

@glcfordco Donny has always had his fans! I am his age but always much more attracted to the older, sexier brothers of his! I just think it is hilarious that MANY thought he was a 12 year old sex symbol. I started to really like Donny only after he did Joseph and he looked and sounded great and also was a good actor in it. I admit, I am a bit miffed sometimes at D & M for hurting the Brothers career... the Brothers never fully recovered from the D & M antics.

BUT you have to remember WE were only 13 and 14 ourselves and it was never really a "sex sysmbol" it was a case HE was (is) so DREAMY! Its all in HIS eyes, still is as far as Im concerned !!! A good looking boy of OUR age sining love songs to US....POP Singers were usually in their 20s.... Donny was OUR age !

I was NEVER crazy about Donny. Cute.. yes Talented.... very... young and skinny, you bet!

The handsome manly ones were the older handsome sexy four!

I still think it was funny that girls thought Donny was a sex symbol at the age of 12,13, 14... lol!

If this reunion tour was really about the four--Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay--why did they allow in every interview for Marie, Donny, and Jimmy to sit in front and answer most of the questions. I know the interviewers likely prefered it that way but they should have demanded the interviews be done with the main focus being on the 4 brothers. JMO.
