I need some help.....i bought this phone and it says its for att but when i tried to use it with the att sim card it says its the wrong kind of sim....what do i do?

this phone sucks. I've had mine less than a year and it turns off randomly 5 TIMES A DAY! right in the middle of my conversations and text messages... ugh the reviews on att&s site all said they have the same problem!
