IPhone 4 - 3G antenna problem!! (hand held demo)

Lucky enough to have recieved the Iphone 4 early on the 23rd! Only to find the dreaded lower left hand yellow spot on the otherwise beautiful screen... if that weren't bad enough, I've had the most absurd reception problems all day!! Only to find out, I'm one of many... Seriously?? Hold the phone in your hand as your would normally use it or talk on the phone... and the 3G dissapears and falls back to the "E" connectivity if at all... let go and hold it between your fingers.. guess what... 3G pops back up with full bars!! I'm a test guy.. and this is crazy.. you can't tell me, no-one has held the phone in there hand normally and not found this issue before shipping??? Really???

BTW... the bumper "solution" is complete BS... don't even think about selling me something else for $30, to fix the problem of me not being able to hold/use the damn brand new phone, out of the box... in my hand for calls... SRSLY?

First of all you had one bar to begin with and who in the hell holds the phone like that? Yes I get it that it is a design flaw based in space saving. You should really be asking ... If there is any more radiation than even the large amount a normal cell phone produces, due to this new outer antenna design. Hope you have brain insurance.

@jephtanner Yup bumpers fix the problems but, I would return my phone even though everyone is doing that. I mean it's crazy.
