That would have been cool if they had Lucas in the episode. The ending makes me tear up :'( I miss those girls so much! It's hard to believe that Betty is the only one alive :( RIP Estelle, Bea, & Rue <3

@ILoveTeaDogs I don't think she kept it legally. I think they just had it that way on her gift since they knew her for years as Dorothy Zbornak, and it was a tribute to their old life together. Most likely her new name was Dorothy Hollingsworth (not Dorothy Zbornak Hollingsworth).

ill be damned. I might like Golden Palace more than Golden Girls. It might be due to Bea being in the episode but I enjoy Cheech Marin and the other actors.

@ILoveTeaDogs .....Alot of women keep the name of their children's father so they share the same last name as their children (and grandchildren). Perhaps Dorothy would have wanted to continue sharing a last name with Michael and his child(ren).

It is said watching the final scene since it the final time that Bea Arthur played Dorothy but I wish that she would have agreed to do guest apperances on the Golden Palace or the so called 8th year of the Golden Girls.
