What's so bad about lining up, biking and study hard? Why are you saying Korea is so hard working while the rest of the world are being lazy? - That's so wrong in so many different level. I bet you haven't live in other places beside Korea. Cheeze!!

Not true. I lived in the U.K. when I was 9 and now I live in the U.S. I made this video when I was in high school senior year in 2007. You are right. Back then, I didn't consider everyone is working hard for their own goals while I was making this video. In this video,I wanted to treat the issue of Korean education which was really hard to accept for me. I just wanted to explain my intense here so people dont misunderstand like you did.

@goto189 The 'E' in 'English' is capitalized, moron. You capitalize a world language. I could teach you, too. Here's another lesson: You don't spell 'channel' with two a's. The world should know the truth about Koreans, and not only what Koreans want the world to think about them.

and in addition to this, while you guys learn algebra and geometry in the 9th grade, koreans are learning precal and calculous in korea. so if you don't want to get bit up by koreans, study like crazy

and did you guys noticed something? what kind of people are getting good careers? the asians and who study like idiots. why? because we study while you watch tv, listen to music, play sports and all that. so if you are going to write comment on korean thing and asian things, how about knowing the real side of asians and writing it after? you are just thinking usa is the best in all things.

how about you come to korea and study? you will be very good at math, science and all that. i can't understand why all the korean people in our school is top in math, top in science, top in english, and top in all subjects. and why is this? because you guys doesn't know about us and our feelings and why we are studying this hard. and when koreans notice that they are not good at some subjects, they study for that subject like crazy and try to be good at it. how about you guys?

they were protesting because of that? wtf? i couldn't even understand why they were doing it. i read you guys' comments, and i was so mad about critizing koreans. the best comment? or the top comment was so annoying. what? what's so bad about lining up? people who doesn't know everything and didn't live in another countries is what we call "you guys". well, i live in america and agree with this video. americans are so lazy to study hard enough to be like koreans.

why am i writing this whole stupid comments is because some of you guys think that this video is exaggerate some facts about real korean life. i think studying in america or some other countries is much easier than studying in korea. i read this news about netherland people protesting about increasing in their school hours. i was laughing with my korean friends while reading it. i was so dumbfounded about that. they were protesting because the law for studying hour is changed.

some people repeats this for years and years. this is why there are some 23's or older people in 1st grade in college. and this video is talking about when they are in senior? i don't know, but the last grade in highschool, when they are studying like crazy people to prepare for the entrace test. and korean high schools have studying time, which is called 'yaza'. this is after when school is over. and it's about 5:00 t0 10:00 or something.

they have to study when they wake up, and study during recess or breaks, even when they eat. and to explain about the college entrance exam, it's kind of like sat, but harder and more subjects. i didn't take sat, so i don't really know much about it, but i think it's much easier than entrance exam. and when they fail this exam or didn't get into schools they applied to, they have to either go to crapy college or wait and study for 1 more year and retake it

for example, this is what elementary students do this days. wake up at 7 o clock and get ready for school. most of the elementary schools starts at 8:40. then they study till 4 to 5 o clock, including afterschool program. after that, they have to go to place called 'hak-woon', which is like tutor or academies, untill 8 to 10 o clock. and some students even study more. and they have to do their hw and stuff. then they wash and sleep. when they have tests or exams, this get even harder.

and they have to do this from elementary school to untill they take the enterance exam. and it's about 12 years. i'm not saying that koreans study the most or korean education is the best or something, but i think at least of course koreans study more than you guys. they don't have time to watch tv, to play with their friends.

this video saids they're studying only in highschool or something, but that's wrong. while you guys can sleep at 9 to 5 in the morning, korean elementary student's have to prepare for their tests and study for over 13 hours a day. i wasn't that good students when i was young, so i didn't study for that long, but around 90% of korean students does what i said.
