@tinyraptor Excuse me?! He died with the knowledge that Hyrule had no chance of coming back, so he gave his life in order to let Link and Tetra live on and create a new land. He didn't want to keep living in the past, so he gave them a future. He had lived too long and regretted too many things, his time was more than up and he knew it.

If there wasn't the amazingly boring Triforce shard-collecting thing, Wind Waker would have been in my Top 3 fave Zelda games, 'cause it ruins pretty much everything for me once I get to that... I mean, the finishers to Ganondorf in both this and Twilight Princess are amazingly satisfying! But instead those 3 slots are taken by Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, and now Skyward Sword.
