These photos were taken around Devils Lake North Dakota in April 2009. Notice all of the flooded farmland. Sorry no more wetlands please.

  • eventually its just going to spill over in to the tolna coulee, in to the cheyenne river, to the red river, to lake winnepeg, to hudson bay.

and the canadians are going to be pissed because of the added salinity to their pristine lake winnepeg

to which i say tough shit because its the natural draining path for this area.

  • Island's and sandy beach's in North Dakota who would believe you?

  • Great views.....I remember fishing off the old Z-Bach pass road. Ankle deep in water one year, then knee deep the next year, waist deep the year after that.

I don't believe the lake will get any larger or deeper though. It will be draining into a river system that finds it's way into Canada. Big issue going on with the Canadians about that. The town of Minnewauken might argue with me on that.

    Thanks for the tour!!!!

  • Looks ruff. I don't like snaging telephone wires when Im trolling.

  • fish all you can eat

  • this is incredible, i've never seen like that before !! the lake is going to sallow the towns around it ..

  • its getting worse and some say will continue for another decade
