No one can make you fell guilty Sandra Tanner....that is your own personal issue. I hope you are able to work through it.

All Mormons leave because of deceit. Many of them that leave deny there is a God. Others find the liberty and freedom and grace of God.

Joseph Smith is the greatest "false prophet" in the history of the United States.

leSavaii has used Biblical scripture to define his own false prophet and he can't even see it.
Joseph and Sidneys new religion "has" deceived many elect.
I honestly believe the Lord is angry being called the spirit brother of Satan.

awolLDSasap, I second that notion about leSavaii. Confirmation that a house divided against itself (ultimately) cannot stand. God is NOT the author of confusion, but of peace.

I totally agree to investigate the church. While doing so be sure to look into:
Adam-God doctrine
Polygamy starting with Joseph Smith which included polyandry
Kinderhook plates
Book of Abraham
Mormon racism
False revelations such as D&C 84
How Joseph Smith really translated the Book of Mormon (sticking his head in a hat as stated in the July 1993 Ensign)
No modern day revelations

If you can somehow reconcile these and numerous other problems good luck!

WHY THE PEOPLE LEAVE MORMONISMS?

It's their pride & they were meant to be on their own terms & reasons. Jesus said it best that out of His Truth (His Church) "..shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, THEY SHALL DECEIVE THE VERY ELECT" God's Truth never fails & few people will be on the path to righteousness
