@Guesswhokk I use the ST on any paved or hard packed surface that you would be on with 700x28 tires. The LT is made for off-raod, downhill, single track mountain bike trails. The LT gives you more travel to dampen much bigger bumps. As for the type of vibration, The ST is great for the low amplitude/high frequency bumps of road riding like potholes, frost heaves, cracks, rumble strips and anything else that would give you sore spot on your bum after 100 miles, or touring for 4000 miles.
@imkindacoolish Thank you for your comment. I do cycle professionally for my own charity called Cycle for Heart. I research the best equipment and ask companies like Cane Creek to donate/sponsor their products to help me accomplish my goals. If you are going to be doing very long or rough rides, I can highly recommend the Thudbuster for added comfort!

So, what kind of "road surface" it design to dampen? and how it differ from LT?
gravel, brick, cobble road, dirt, bike path, asphalt, short grass, astroturf, wood chip, high frequency and low amplitude vibration or vice versa?
