I started my own BASS club when I was 16 and thats when I started bass fishing in tournaments. Then I joined a large bass club, fished as a non-boater for 6 years & learned from some of the best fisherman in my state and soaked up info like a sponge. As I got older I made good decisions about finishing college and married a great supportive wife. In the middle of all that, I fished 3-4 times a week, even if it was just walking the bank of local ponds.

I still have a long way to go but I'm working hard every day on sponsors and my fishing skills. I never truly go "fun fishing"...I'm always working on perfecting something. Hopefully one day I'll be blessed enough to qualify for the Elite Series...

RageTails are absolutely the bomb! I caught a 5lber in a tournament on Kentucky Lake on the first cast I made w/ that bait.

Hard work, buying at a discount (I never pay full price for anything), and work with the companys who's tackle you like and if you're helping them out they will usually help you out. Good luck Tribble...
