On September 15, SeaWorld Orlando's animal rescue team returned a 320-pound loggerhead sea turtle to the wild. After a four-month stay at the park's Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility, the big turtle is now back in his native waters off St. Petersburg Beach, FL.
SeaWorld's Animal Rescue Team is on call, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to rescue, care for and return ill, orphaned or injured animals -- just like this massive loggerhead sea turtle. The parks have rescued more than 18,000 animals since their programs began.
