We saw it this weekend - HOLY CRAP I think it is as great as the movie!!! We have to get our tickets to see it a second time - SO good. Finally a Broadway show based on a movie WORTH making a broadway show out of! (is that a sentence?)

just caught this and totally blown away with it's simplicity but packing such emotional wallop. cast, staging, writing: all stellar. no wonder it won so many tonys.

Didn't score a lottery ticket to Book of Mormon and was looking for another show to watch, decided on Once because of a recommendation I got, so glad I didn't watch Mormon a second time! Once is amazing! Very very different musical to Mormon obviously but I personally enjoyed it more, I suppose I'm a sucker for love stories... Steve Kazee steals the show.

Very few things in life can bring me to tears because of its beauty and the raw emotions it brings. I had almost forgot that music could do that for me! Looks like I need to plan a trip to New York! I'm not going to be able to wait for their US Tour!
