Here's a test with the new Vermona Kick Lancet, really an amazing synth kick... u can obtain sweet and light kick, to booom one, to 909 aggressive style... more u have all the knobs in front of you for a real analogue style control.... really amazing in my opinion...
it's based on the kick of the DRM1 MKIII, but it has more controls

  • Got my vote, just ordered one, I did have an MBase 01, but didn't get on with it...

  • @mutantmoments

hey i'mglad u find this helpful!

    peace

  • Which DAW you use to record the sound? Logic or Cubase?Really good demo. The kick is fat! Can you make another demo with more soft type kick like 808?This kicks are more 909 style and can you try to use only Noise gennerator? I think can be made claps and snares with this machine.

  • @denig12

    logic

i'm away from the studio till next month.... let's see if when i'll go back i can do an other video

however u can make 808 gentle kick as well... and about the noise yeah u should be able to do that, even if i think this is a kick generator and for noise i prefer to use some synth one...

    best

    ale

  • Finally a proper demo of this, thanks! Sounds great! Better than the Mbase for sure. Do you use a compressor or other processing here?

  • @twelvebits

    oh mate tnx

the output is straight into my soundcard... then i just add a limiter in post production, is a UAD Precision Limiter and really a small touch...i compare before and after and the sound was really the same, just a little higher....

  • nice piece, i see this for the first time, as what i understand this a rack integrated into your DAW logic?

  • nice

  • Can you use this thing OUTSIDE of 4/4?

  • Seems like you are leaving the attack up so the front end is missing, no?

  • sounds bloody terrible. kicks have no front of them and are all just hollow "booings". screw that for a joke.

  • Surprised there's no standard attack on this one (as in ASDR attack). Doesn't the DRM1 MKIII have it?

  • woooooow

  • good stuff someone who actually realises that in a gear demo you shouldn't use the mic on your camera. thanks
