@stesta90 this is true, the only problem with no pivet are the risk of meniscus lession, but u are right, there r many ways
-
He teaches the way I was taught in the Thai Lessons I took. Fuck off Buakaw101hkfan! What are you basing this on?!
-
looks like a cut kick
-
@prestigetraining emm... Muay Thai IS Thai Boxing
-
for the low kick I have learned that you dont pivet, you sidestep.. "/
only pivet the highkick.. then again, you have fighters like cro cop that dosent pivet ever.. there are many ways to do it I guess.."/
-
This is a proper thai kick.. he teaches it the way my instructor does.

Great video for beginners just learning this kick, but I feel there's more to it. Thai kick boxers harden their shins to make their kicks more effective. Personally, I use the lower part of my shin. More power concentrated on a smaller surface area.
-
@scarface1994310 Nah you kick with your shinbone, like johnqsimple said he is right
-
(scarface1994310) to answer your question your suppose to use the shin bone because its sharp and hard. the more you kick a bag the more the nerves in your shins will deaden so you wont feel anything some fighters in thailand kick banana trees to deaden the nerves my shins are getting there haha i can hit them with a pipe and it doesnt hurt the bone any. anyway hope this helps!
hahaha he dosent sound drunk, he has a man's proper voice, and yeah everything he teaches is perfect
