  • Yes, it was certainly in 425 DX News last Friday and I think it was in the Daily DX too.

    Thanks for reminding me about Southgate. I'll drop Richard a note once the logs are properly amalgamated so we have an accurate QSO total.

  • Well we weren't entering the contest, so there's no _rule_ against it. Some people may say that it's against the spirit, though. I think we only did it if we had been calling for more than 15 minutes with no QSOs and needed to check we were getting out OK. I think then it's acceptable, particularly if there's a contest filling the bands and DXers might not find you.
