Or rather, that's what I got when I looked up the Story of Pingala. I don't speak Hindi (i'm assuming that's what she's singing in). So I don't know if that's the gist of the song or not. Just guessing from the title.

Thanks. I looked her up. It's Karnamrita Dasi. This song is "Story of Pingala". It's about a prostitute who has no customers. She becomes sad and grows disgusted with her material situation. Then she becomes detached from it and realizes that pursuit of material goods and sensual pleasures is a trap. She realizes that she has given up the love of the "Lord of the Universe" for the love of men. She then comes to treasure her detachment as a gift from god.
