Done a bit differently than the previous OS. Inputting the OS after the special move has been inputted. This allows Gouken to autocorrect his special move in case of a teleport behind you.

Ultra II OS

CL.MP, QCF LP, QCF LK MK HK, C.HK

EX PALM OS

Same as above but buffer ex palm (or palm) after QCF LP motion.

  • hey if the AE2012 Denjin can shoot faster, then we can do it against the Akuma's teleport. right?

  • @viperRX I'm pretty sure you'll be able to catch him. I'm looking forward to see if we'll be able to punish backdashes with the new denjin.

  • @MrRIO1984 nah, you input it when they're standing up like a normal combo. Check out these vids, they'll help you understand the basics of what an option select is and why they work.

    yo phunk is it possible to do this OS from goukens demon slip safe jump setup? or is it only working with meaty c.mp?

  • @im2dirty4u you can buffer an ultra or demonflip os from a jump in but it won't autocorrect if they tele behind you but should hit if they tele away from you.

  • what if reversal or back dash ? the name is punishing TELEPORTS ONLY ... but teleport isnt the only options , so ...

  • @sprinter223 Your just shit. Nah just kidding but tbh its a lot easier than it looks. All you have to do is complete the motion and button inputs after the cancel window (if the move can be cancelled) but before its recovery has finished so that if it hits you get the move nothing more and if it misses you do whatever you option selected. So yes there is some timing but its not too small of a window of opportunity as long as you do the inputs quickly enough depending on the move.

  • i can option select from jump ins easily or heavy attacks but i find it hard from light attacks. does require strict timing or am i just shit : /
