This Opera Competition and Festival is such a new, unique international competition (and its final round is such a two-week-long international opera festival) that differs from the traditional vocal competitions in that it awards the opera singers complex performing talents.

The Opera Competitions name-giver and co-organizer is Mezzo Television, one of the most prestigious classical music and opera channels in Europe.
This channel, which broadcasts in 38 countries, has never took on a joint festival, event or production with anyone before.

Apart from this, many European and American opera houses collaborate in organizing the festival each year, so the national and the international communication will be as widespread as ever.
