Agree with the lack of Target ads for IRL drivers. The point is that TG's IRL split the sponsorship dollar in open-wheel racing and created the opening for the rise of NiiiCECAR, which then has promptly sucked dry almost all of the USA autoracing sponsorship.

Why are you blaming George? This was 1999, three years after the split. CART was still rolling right along. Ganassi is the one that took Target to George's league. And Target has done how many ads like these for his team since with his new team of drivers???? I can't remember a single one.

I miss those ads. CART in the 90's, early 2000's had some very good ads that the general public actually saw.
