@Kawasakiebabe09 yeah, they split in the begining of 2010 when junsu, yoochun, and jaejoong tried to end their contract with sm entertainment because of unfair pay and because of the 13 year long binding as well as removal of the exclusive clause. yunho and changmin stayed with sm, and they ended activities together. the three who filed against sm began activities as 'jyj' and the other two are continuing as tvxq. look up some of the articles about the controversy around the split. theres a lot.

@Kawasakiebabe09 no they never changed their name. Well... kinda. DBSK (with 5 members) had the other name of TVXQ and some other name. But know that they split up, Yunho and Changmin is now TVXQ and Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun is now JYJ. DBSK will never exist without 5 members (<3) that's why most people don't call JYJ or HoMin DBSK.
